Stacey Solomon on the second Live Show

Stacey Solomon has remained one of the favourites to win the X-Factor Show with the betting website betfair.com having her as 13/2 favourite. She had done herself no harm the previous week with a stupendous performance of Cold Play's The Scientist and followed this up with an equally impressive version of "At Last" at the second live show.

This is a big song made famous in the 60's by Etta James and more recently by Beyonce, a big ask for anyone, and stacey delivered again.

Stacey Solomon on the first Live show

It is is the real thing now. Can the Dagenham Diva, Stacey Solomon, continue to wow the Judges and the audiences. Of course she can. At the first live show she delivers a barn-storming cover of the ColdPlay's The Scientist.

The question is simply who's going to stop her, because at the moment she is a musical juggernaut.

Stacey Solomon meets the Minogue's in Dubai

Having successfully scaled through Boot Camp Stacey Solomon joined the other six girls in mentor Dannii Minogue's group and jetted out to the Dubai to battle it out for the final three spots for the girls.

Dannii was joined by sister Kylie and it was down to the two of them to decide if Stacey was good enough. Another soulful performance, this time of the musical classic " Over The Rainbow " and they were swayed. The Dagenham Diva was on her way to the X-Factor Finals.

Stacey Solomon at Boot Camp

The Dagenham Diva or "Essex Stace" as Dannii Minogue loves to call Stacey Solomon is one of the stand out picks from the crop of X-Factor 2009. She is kind of a Jekyll and Hyde character, when she is singing she is soulful and can be joy to listen to, but when she isn't it is a total transformation.

She has a high pitched, breathless and giggly voice that some find irritatingly affected and others endearing but what everyone would agree on is it is nothing like her singing voice.

As an example here she is singing Faith Hill's There You'll Be. The Performance was superb but the interview afterwards, well I leave that to you to decide

He said that Stacey kept bursting into tears in rehearsals because of the "emotion" of the song she will sing on Saturday night's show. Michael said: "I told her to go home, write out the lyrics, read and read and let the song do the work - do it for her little guy."
